At St Mary Magdalen's our children's creativity and curiosity is nurtured through our Investigations Learning program. Each of the children in the junior learning area are able to learn how to become self managed and self directed learners through learning investigations.
Watch the video to learn more about how play and investigations encourage a broad range of learning skills and strengths for children of all different learning abilities.
What are learning stations?
Learning stations provide children with choice in their learning. They are able to guide their thought process and create designs to suit the task. They also learn skills of co-operation and teamwork when working with others and problem solving skills that strengthens their understanding of how to solve a challenge, how to persevere and not give up and how to become more resilient and managed in their learning.
